About Me

I have been planning events of one kind or another for over 20 years now. From student events in high school and college to working for a small non-profit, I found myself planning a wide range of events. Speakers, Fund-raising Dinners, Group Activities, 3-Day Member Conferences, Board Retreats, Meetings of all shapes and sizes.

In 2003, I started my own small catering company in Athens, Ohio and quickly began to joke I had opened the wrong business. I wanted to plan the whole event for my clients, not just their menus. Lucky for me, I had some wonderful clients who let me do just that! Dinner Parties, Business Luncheons, Graduation Celebrations and more Fundraising Events, plus the odd Wedding Reception here and there filled my days.

I closed the business just 2 years later, however, so that my new husband and I could move to Fairview Park (on Cleveland’s west side) to be closer to his family as we began to build our own. Next came PTA Meetings and Spaghetti Dinners, Baby Showers and Birthday Parties. And along the way, I remembered how rewarding planning events really is to me.

Now, life has come full circle and I am back to planning. This is what I’m meant to do, and I do it well. Whether it’s helping bring friends together or clients to the table, planning the event is the skill I can share with you.
